Susan Geear is an internationally acclaimed coach, consultant, and social justice advocate, committed to partnering with women and men in leadership to support wide-ranging initiatives for personal, professional, and organizational change.

She previously served as Co-Director of the Global Women’s Leadership Network and is currently faculty and coach working with women around the globe to foster a commitment toward global citizenship, social consciousness, and personal responsibility.

She brings with her extensive experience working with multinational organizations, financial institutions, non-profits and NGOs. Her clientele spans over 30 countries which has provided her the opportunity to recently travel to and experience the culture and traditions of Istanbul, Dubai and Cebu. This rich cultural awareness supports her ability to bridge global communities by cultivating new pathways towards understanding and compassion.

Integrating her entrepreneurial, leadership, and managerial experience, with her ongoing personal and leadership development, Susan’s coaching results in purposeful action and sustainable change for executives, teams and individuals. Known for assessing integrally, listening deeply, and inquiring powerfully, Susan is a true partner in developing leadership presence and capacity. Clients speak to her uncanny ability to quickly build rapport, to provide insightful assessments and to incite action.

Her lineage as a coach includes certifications through two top coaching schools. Her first certification, through The Hudson Institute held an emphasis in promoting resilience, optimal performance, and imaginative future scenarios through the coaching relationship. She has since dedicated herself to certification and ongoing work with Strozzi Institute, whose emphasis brings rich traditions in leadership and creating effective and lasting change through somatic distinctions and practices. Pursuing mastery in somatic coaching has fostered Susan’s ability to assist clients in developing the strength of character and skills necessary to respond to life with the grace and power that conventional coaching alone cannot produce.

In blending these methodologies with her professional experience in both private and not-for-profit organizations, Susan’s approach is well grounded in the business world and rich in connecting clients with their visions and aspirations. She guides the process of shaping a life of authenticity, integrity and intentionality. Hope, optimism and compassion are at the heart of her coaching approach.

Susan’s background includes over 20 years in business and technology and ranges from independent ventures as an entrepreneur and consultant, to organizational work with the California Teacher’s Association. With this, she knows well the synergy possible in collaborative efforts – a value she brings not only to her one-on-one sessions, but to group dynamics as well. In addition to her coaching certifications she is certified in TTI DISC, PIAV and TriMetrix Assessments and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management.

Susan has also dedicated herself as an endurance athlete and recently completed the Seattle half-marathon and Trek Triathlon in support of breast cancer research. She is an avid supporter of local and international causes.
